Prediction was freezing rain, so here I go again, driving home in the miserable rain.... Since I work in an entire different area weatherwise than I live in, I'm thinking as I am driving home that it is really going to be freezing rain 'on top of the mountain', as I am driving up the mountain it is getting more miserable by the mile.... They sanded, that's GOOD!!!!!
I turned my tracker around in the neighbors 'ice filled' driveway and as I was pulling into the parking spot it slid into the fence slightly.... Cool, no damage, but had to put the Tracker into 4WD and get out and repark... Fine, I situated the Tracker so it would not slide into the fence again and got out....
Well is was a solid sheet of ice all the way into the house..... Slipping and sliding all the way to the front door.... Had a few close calls, mainly stopped just to quit sliding....
Got to the front door safe and sound and found that I forgot my 'cigarettes', so WENT BACK OUT across the ice and got them, took a header landed on my butt in the hard snow... 'Oh My" another accident blamed on cigarettes.....!!!!! They are 'true' evil.....!!!!!
When I looked out the front door a couple minutes later it really looked like the truly perfect 'Dreary Day" took a picture and then off to bed, inside......
I can truthfully say 'I hate the cold weather..............
